San Antonio Tacos

Ingredients
- Servings: 24
- 2 lbs ground round
- 2 tablespoons onions, chopped
- 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon minced hot green chili pepper
- 1 dash salt
- 1 dash pepper
- 1 1/2 cups tomato sauce
- 24 taco shells
- shredded lettuce
- finely chopped tomato
- shredded longhorn cheese
Recipe
- 1 brown beef in skillet.
- 2 add onion, garlic, spices, chile, seasonings and tomato sauce.
- 3 cover and simmer 15 minutes while heating the taco shells according to package directions.
- 4 fill the shells with the meat mixture, then top with lettuce, tomato and cheese.
- 5 makes 24 tacos.
