San Carlos Beef Ball Soup

Total Time: 6 hrs 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 6 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup seasoned croutons
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 (10 ounce) cans chicken broth
  • 2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans stewed tomatoes
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 3 stalks celery, diced
  • 2 cups peeled cubed potatoes

Recipe

  • 1 combine beef balls ingredients.
  • 2 shape into 1 inch balls.
  • 3 saute for 10 minutes, drain fat and place in crock pot.
  • 4 add soup base ingredients.
  • 5 cook on high for 1 hour, then reduce to medium and cook for 4-5 hours.
