Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 5 -7 lbs rump roast
- 2 tablespoons lard
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 2 tablespoons onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup water
- 6 carrots, cut julienne style
- 1 (9 ounce) package frozen italian cut green beans
- 1/4 cup flour
Recipe
- 1 brown meat in lard.
- 2 pour off drippings.
- 3 combine salt, pepper and oregano.
- 4 combine with meat.
- 5 add onion and carrots.
- 6 mix flour and water.
- 7 add water mixture.
- 8 cover tightly and cook slowly 2 1/2 hours.
- 9 add green beans.
- 10 cook 15 minutes or until meat is tender and vegetables are done.
- 11 remove meat and vegetables to a heated serving platter.
