Salt Crusted And Seasoned Lamb Tenderloin

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning mix, blend
  • 1 lb boneless lamb tenderloin
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons kosher salt

Recipe

  • 1 thoroughly combine minces garlic with spice blend.
  • 2 pat lamb tenderloin dry with paper towel.
  • 3 brush tenderloin with oil; sprinkle with garlic/spice mix. press into tenderloin.
  • 4 place long sheet of heavy-duty aluminum foil on a baking pan. place tenderloin on foil; bring edges of foil up at sides and ends; fold in allowing top of lamb tenderloin to remain exposed.
  • 5 sprinkle top of tenderloin wit kosher salt.
  • 6 roast at 450 for 20-25 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160.
  • 7 (salt layer will brown and crack during roasting process).
  • 8 allow meat to rest 10 minutes. remove and discard salt crust.
  • 9 slice and serve.
