Slow Cooker Mediterranean Pot Roast

Ingredients

- 3 medium garlic cloves, minced
- 2 teaspoons basil, dried
- 1 teaspoon oregano, dried
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 1/2 lbs boneless chuck roast, all visible fat removed
- 1 1/2 cups spaghetti sauce
- 16 ounces spaghetti
Recipe
- 1 sprinkle the garlic, basil, oregano and red pepper flakes over both sides of the meat.
- 2 pour 1 cup spaghetti sauce into a crock pot.
- 3 place the meat over the sauce.
- 4 pour the remaining 1/2 cup sauce over meat.
- 5 cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or until the meat is fork tender.
- 6 transfer the meat to a cutting board and cover loosely with aluminum foil.
- 7 spoon off and discard any fat from sauce in the crock pot.
- 8 about 12 minutes before serving time, prepare spaghetti according to package directions. drain well.
