Shoyu Chicken

Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon crushed ginger (optional)
- 1 whole broiler-fryer chicken, cut up
Recipe
- 1 mix all liquid ingredients well and pour over chicken in skillet. fry on medium heat until chicken looks done in the middle; about 30-40 minutes. serve over or brown rice. spoon some of the sauce over rice as desired. add cut-up orange slices to skillet for some orange flavor if desired.
- 2 any combination of chicken parts will work for this recipe.
