Seafood Chowder

Total Time: 2 hrs Preparation Time: 1 hr Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 1 cup onion, minced and saute
  • 5 diced potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 (6 1/2 ounce) can clams, chopped including juice
  • 1 (4 1/2-6 ounce) can shrimp (whole or chopped)
  • 1 (6 1/2 ounce) can lobster meat (or 1 can lobster tail, chopped)
  • 1/2-1 lb sliced scallops
  • 2 cups light cream
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • paprika

Recipe

  • 1 sauté onions; add potatoes, salt, pepper and clam juice.
  • 2 simmer until potatoes are done.
  • 3 add all your seafood, cream, and milk.
  • 4 do not boil at this point.
  • 5 i transfer it to my crock pot so i can keep it hot.
  • 6 sprinkle a bit of paprika on top.
