Mincemeat Custard Pie

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup mincemeat
- 1 9" unbaked pie shell
Recipe
- 1 combine sugar, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon in a bowl.
- 2 add eggs, milk and vanilla.
- 3 mix well.
- 4 press mincemeat evenly over bottom of unbaked pie shell.
- 5 slowly por custard mixture over mincemeat.
- 6 bake at 425 for 10 minutes.
- 7 reduce heat to 350 and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until knife inserted near centre comes out clean.
- 8 cool before serving.
