Slow-cooked Italian Chicken

Ingredients

- 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can chicken broth
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 3 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cold water
- hot cooked noodles
Recipe
- 1 place the chicken in your slow-cooker (crock pot).
- 2 in a bowl, combine the next 11 ingredients; pour over chicken.
- 3 cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until chicken juices run clear.
- 4 remove chicken and keep warm.
- 5 poor 'cooking juices' into a saucepan; skim fat if any.
- 6 combine the flour and cold water until smooth; stir into juices and bring to boil. cook and stir for 2 minutes or untiul thickened.
- 7 serve over chicken and noodles.
