Hawaiian Sweet And Sour Meatballs On A Stick

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 lb meatballs (20-25 1-inch, use your favorite recipe or use frozen if you must)
  • 15 ounces pineapple chunks (fresh is always better, however canned works well)
  • 2 bell peppers, cut into 1-inch pieces (green, yellow, red and or or orange)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup vinegar (i use apple cider)
  • toothpick

Recipe

  • 1 cook the meatballs.
  • 2 in microwave or on stove top cook the peppers until just tender.
  • 3 place pepper, meatball and then pineapple on a toothpick.
  • 4 mix brown sugar and vinegar until thoroughly mixes.
  • 5 arrange on platter or on small tasting plates.
  • 6 drizzle a little sauce over the top of each.
