Slow-cooked Spaghetti And Meatballs

Ingredients
- 3 lbs ground beef
- 1 cup finely chopped onion, divided
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 (46 ounce) can tomato juice
- 1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes, drained
- 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 2 celery ribs, chopped
- 3 bay leaves
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
Recipe
- 1 in a bowl, combine the beef, 1/2 cup onion, salt and pepper.
- 2 mix well.
- 3 shape into 1 inch balls.
- 4 in a large skillet over medium heat, brown meatballs with remaining onion.
- 5 transfer to a 5 quart slow cooker.
- 6 add the remaining ingredients.
- 7 cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
- 8 discard bay leaves, before serving.
