Polish Knockwurst In Mustard Sauce (sosiski A La Sierzputowski)

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 12 knockwurst
  • boiling water
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup dry red wine
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon meat extract

Recipe

  • 1 cook knockwurst in boiling water until cooked through, about 10 minutes.
  • 2 drain and return to pan.
  • 3 continue to cook over low heat until skins are lightly browned.
  • 4 meanwhile, melt butter in a small saucepan.
  • 5 stir in flour and cook, stirring, until it begins to brown.
