Lahm Biajeen (ground Meat Pizza)

Total Time: 1 hr 25 mins Preparation Time: 55 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon yeast, dry
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 -3 1/2 cups flour, sifted
  • 1 lb ground meat, lean
  • 3 onions, medium, chopped
  • 1 cup pine nuts
  • salt
  • pepper
  • cinnamon

Recipe

  • 1 mix the yeast with warm water, let stand for 5 minutes.
  • 2 add over the oil, sugar, salt and flour. mix well.
  • 3 knead the dough very well for 8-10 minutes. put in a greased bowl. turn dough in bowl, cover with a cloth and let stand in a warm place until double in size, about 45 minutes.
  • 4 cut the dough into 5 portions. roll each portion into a circle 1/2 inch thick.
  • 5 spread the fillings over the 5 circles. put into greased pans and bake at 350f for 30 minutes or until slightly brown. serve with yoghurt as main dish.
