Sesame Chicken

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cooking wine
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili paste
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 1 bunch broccoli
  • 2 cups long grain brown rice
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame (to garnish)

Recipe

  • 1 cut chicken into small strips and place in marinade.
  • 2 cook the rice using 2 parts water to 1 part rice in double boiler.
  • 3 heat pan over medium high heat and add a small amount of oil.
  • 4 stir fry the chicken to fully cook.
  • 5 add broccoli followed by sauce mix and place a lid on pan to steam broccoli.
  • 6 serve over rice and garnish with toasted sesame seeds.
