Roasted Sweet And Sour Chili Ribs (crock Pot Or Oven)

Total Time: 3 hrs 30 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 3 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3 -4 lbs lamb ribs
  • 1 -2 onion, thinly sliced
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 2 -4 teaspoons chili powder
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh garlic (or to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (or to taste)

Recipe

  • 1 place the ribs in a large pot and cover with water; bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for about 20 minutes over medium-high heat.
  • 2 place the ribs in a shallow baking pan and sprinkle with onions.
  • 3 mix together all sauce ingredients together in a bowl then pour over ribs, turn the ribs to coat in the sauce.
  • 4 set oven to 275 degrees (yes that low!).
  • 5 bake uncovered for about 2-1/2 to 3 hours or until ribs are tender.
