Red Beans & Rice - Without The Beans

Total Time: 12 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 7 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 cups minute brown rice (1 boil in the bag pouch)
  • 1 (14 ounce) package smoked turkey sausage, sliced thin
  • salt and pepper
  • cayenne pepper
  • cumin
  • paprika
  • chili powder
  • tabasco sauce
  • liquid smoke
  • worcestershire sauce

Recipe

  • 1 cook the minute rice packet as directed on box.
  • 2 while that cooks, put sausage in skillet with the spices of your choosing.
  • 3 cook for about 4 minutes, until heated through and sausage is slightly browned.
  • 4 serve sausage over rice.
  • 5 [may mix a can of red beans together with remaining rice and sausage if you'd like beans.].
