Sausage, Veggie, Kraft Dinner

Ingredients

  • Servings: 5
  • 1 lb mild italian sausage, casing removed and crumbled
  • 1 (225 g) package kraft macaroni and cheese
  • 2 cups broccoli
  • 2 cups corn
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup 1% low-fat milk

Recipe

  • 1 remove the sausage casing and then brown the sausage in a large frying pan.
  • 2 start the water boiling for the kraft dinner in a seperate pot.
  • 3 once the sausage is done add the kraft dinner noodles to the second pot and cook normally. drain when ready and set aside.
  • 4 if the sausage meat is too greasy for you i take this time to rinse it off. doesn't need to be patted dry especially if there will be water added by adding frozen vegetables.
  • 5 add the broccoli and the corn to the sausage and cook to heat the ingredients while the kraft dinner noodles cook.
  • 6 once the noodles and the sausage mixture are ready add the noodles to the sausage mixture along with the cheese and milk.
  • 7 mix the ingredients together. if there is too much liquid let it cook off a bit; otherwise it is ready to serve.
