Slow Cooker French Dip

Total Time: 7 hrs 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 7 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 9
  • 4 -5 lbs rump roast
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can beef broth
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed french onion soup
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle dark beer
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 6 french rolls
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Recipe

  • 1 trim excess fat from the rump roast, and place in a slow cooker.
  • 2 add the beef broth, onion soup, soy sauce and beer.
  • 3 cook on low setting for 7 hours.
  • 4 preheat oven to 350 degrees f (175 degrees c).
  • 5 split french rolls, and spread with butter.
  • 6 bake 10 minutes, or until heated through.
  • 7 slice the meat on the diagonal, and place on the rolls.
  • 8 serve the sauce for dipping.
