Rice Krispies Chicken

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 1/2 cups rice krispies
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 large egg
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning (adds great flavor)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 -3 lbs boneless chicken
  • 3 tablespoons margarine

Recipe

  • 1 line a baking pan with aluminum foil and spray with a non-stick spray.
  • 2 place rice krispies in a ziploc bag and crush with a rolling pin.
  • 3 cut chicken up in the size you wish like tenderloin size.
  • 4 place rice krispies and paprika in a shallow bowl and mix well.
  • 5 combine egg and milk in another bowl and whisk well.
  • 6 add the flour, poultry seasoning, salt and pepper and stir to make a batter.
  • 7 place cut up chicken one or two pieces at a time in the batter and cover chicken.
  • 8 dip in crumbs and cover completely and then place in baking pan.
  • 9 melt the margarine and drizzle over the chicken pieces.
  • 10 bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until chicken pieces are a golden brown.
