Savoury Drumsticks

• 1 1/8 kg chicken
• 6 tablespoons soy sauce
• 6 tablespoons honey
• 6 tablespoons lemon juice
• 1 tablespoon oil

Recipe

• 1 make two cuts in the fleshy part of the meat. mix the soy sauce, honey and lemon juice in a non-metallic dish. add the drumsticks and turn them in the marinade. cover and chill for 1-3 hours, turning the drumsticks in the marinade occasionally.
• 2 preheat the oven to 190c/170c/gas 5. grease a large roasting tin with oil. lift the drumsticks out of the marinade and put into the tin a single layer. cook in the oven for 25-30 minutes, brushing them with more marinade halfway through.
• 3 leave to cool, then chill until ready to pack.
