Smucker's Moroccan Chicken

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1/4 cup smucker's reduced-sugar orange marmalade or 1/4 cup apricot preserves
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery seed (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons minced green onions (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 -3 1/2 lbs chicken, cut into pieces
  • 1/4 cup smucker's reduced-sugar orange marmalade or 1/4 cup apricot preserves

Recipe

  • 1 for sauce:.
  • 2 mix all ingredients and set aside (to serve at room temperature).
  • 3 for chicken:.
  • 4 mix first three ingredients to make a rub. rub all over chicken pieces.
  • 5 broil skin side down for 15 minutes, turn and broil 15 minutes more, until skin is crisp and juices run clear.
  • 6 brush on 1/4 cup low sugar orange marmalade or apricot preserves. broil 2 minutes more.
  • 7 serve with sauce.
