Randi"s Chili

Total Time: 5 hrs Preparation Time: 1 hr Cook Time: 4 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 412
  • 2 lbs ground chuck
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 bunch celery, chopped
  • tomato, petite diced
  • 3 tomatoe cans water, added to pot
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 scauce can water, add to pot
  • 4 -7 tablespoons chili powder, to taste
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans black beans, rinsed
  • kidney bean, rinsed
  • 1 (15 ounce) can beans, rinsed (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 brown meat and onions, drain and add to large pot.
  • 2 add rest of ingredients and simmer 2 hours.
  • 3 before end of 2 hours add rinsed beans.
  • 4 optional additions:.
  • 5 usually serve id over cooked elbow macaroni (i do not add the macaroni to the pot).
