"second Only To My Meatloaf" Meatballs"

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 -1 1/2 lb ground beef (or turkey, if desired)
- 1/2 cup oatmeal
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
Recipe
- 1 mix together all the ingredients for the meatballs in large mixing bowl.
- 2 shape into balls the size of golf balls.
- 3 place meatballs in shallow baking dish.
- 4 combine sauce ingredients.
- 5 pour over meat.
- 6 bake at 350 for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
- 7 sauce should be caramelized, but not dry.
- 8 meatballs can be made ahead of time and frozen.
- 9 (place frozen meatballs in pan; cover with sauce and bake. baking time may vary) i've never done it with this recipe, but the crockpot could be a possibility!
