Slow Cooker Chicken Cacciatore

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 6 skinless chicken thighs
- 1 (4 1/2 ounce) can mushrooms, drained
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can chicken broth
- 1 (6 ounce) can italian tomato paste
- 1/2 cup wine (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon dried sage
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
Recipe
- 1 1. place mushrooms, broth, tomato paste, optional wine and sage in cooker.
- 2 2. add chicken and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
- 3 3. remove chicken from pot and add thyme to sauce.
- 4 4. mix cornstarch with 1/2 cup liquid from pot and stir into sauce.
- 5 5. cook on high for 15 minutes or until thickened.
- 6 6. add chicken to pot and reheat for a few minutes.
