Smokin' Hot Beef Buffalo Burgers

Ingredients

- 1/2 cup red hot sauce (louisiana, frank's but not tabasco)
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 5 -6 slices bacon, cooked until crisp, crumbled (optional)
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- kosher salt
- fresh black pepper
- 2 -3 large celery ribs, sliced thin
- 1 1/2 cups chunky blue cheese dressing
- hamburger bun
Recipe
- 1 in a heavy saucepan, combine the sauce ingredients and simmer on medium-low heat until thickened; set aside.
- 2 mix together the burger ingredients and grill or broil 6 - 7 minutes on each side. generously coat with prepared sauce the cooked burger and serve topped with celery and blue cheese dressing on toasted hamburger buns.
