Shredded Chile Beef

Ingredients
- 1 (4 -5 lb) beef roast, trimmed of visible fat
- 1 (4 ounce) can diced green chilies
- 2 large onions, halved and sliced thin
- 6 tablespoons garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
Recipe
- 1 rinse beef roast under cold water and pat dry. place in crock pot. pour remaining ingredients on top of roast.
- 2 cover and cook on low 8-10 hours.
- 3 shred beef with forks until easy to manage.
- 4 serving suggestions: serve over rice or mashed potatoes, on tortillas with taco toppings, or on a hard roll with cheese.
