Red Pepper Jelly Turkey Burgers

Ingredients

- 1 lb ground turkey breast
- 1/3 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup quick-cooking oats
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- cooking spray
- 4 (1 5/8 ounce) light whole wheat hamburger buns
- 1/4 cup tub-style light cream cheese
- 1/4 cup red pepper jelly
- 16 thin slices cucumbers
- 1/4 cup alfalfa sprout
Recipe
- 1 combine first 7 ingredients in a large bowl. divide turkey mixture into 4 equal portions, shaping each into a 1/2-inch-thick patty.
- 2 heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat; coat pan with cooking spray. add turkey patties; cook 6 minutes on each side or until done.
- 3 place patties on bottom halves of buns. top each with 1 tablespoon each of cream cheese and jelly, 4 cucumber slices, and 1 tablespoon alfalfa sprouts. top with top halves of buns.
