Pot Roast Complete

Total Time: 6 hrs 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 6 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 6 1/2 roast, boneless
  • 2 large onions
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup cider vinegar
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 -3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 cup julienne cut carrot
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 2 -3 cups fresh spinach leaves or 20 ounces frozen spinach, defrosted
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

Recipe

  • 1 1 place meat, topped with onions in slow cooker.
  • 2 2 combine brown sugar, ginger, garlic, soy sauce and vinegar. pour over vinegar.
  • 3 3 cover. cook on high 6-7 hours.
  • 4 4 spread carrots, mushroom and spinach over beef.
  • 5 5 cover. cook on high 20 minutes.
  • 6 6 mix cornstarch with 1/2 cup broth from slow cooker.
  • 7 7 cover. cook 10 minutes more.
  • 8 8 serve over rice.
