Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup water or 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
Recipe
- 1 beat egg well, add salt and water or milk and stir this into the flour until a smooth batter is formed.
- 2 drop by spoonfuls into boiling, salted water and let cook 15 minutes.
- 3 drain in a colander.
- 4 pour hot fat or meat gravy over them and serve.
- 5 garnish with fried onions, cracker crumbs, or any desired dressing.
