Roast Chicken With Autumn Fruits

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 25 g all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons sage and apple seasoning (or dried mixed herbs)
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 apples
  • 1 pear
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • salt
  • fresh ground black pepper

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375f.
  • 2 mix flour, seasoning, salt and pepper in a ziplock bag.
  • 3 rinse chicken, do not pat dry.
  • 4 coat it with flour mixture- place it in the bag and shake the bag vigorously.
  • 5 place the breasts on roasting tin and sprinkle with oil.
  • 6 cook for 15 minutes.
  • 7 quarter and core the apples and pear, without peeling them.
  • 8 drizzle with lemon juice and place them next to the chicken.
  • 9 roast for a further 20 minutes, or until chicken is cooked and the fruit is tender.
